100 Foot Hole used to be an ancient Hawaiian fishing spot that was only used by the Ali'I (royalty). Although the site is only 90 feet deep, it was named as such due to the fisherman answering that the site is about 100 feet deep. The site is built of groups of volcanic rocks that together have formed caves, ledges and a large open-ended caver. The main tunnel can be found in a formation encrusted with cauliflower coral. Within the main tunnel there is a huge rock that one can traverse. One should bring a dive light to view the vast amounts of marine life that live in the cave.
